Pastor John Hackney

Pastor John Hackney is the senior pastor at North Christian, starting in June 2019. He is ordained in the Free Methodist and in the United Methodist Denominations.  Pastor John served at North Christian from 1990-95 as Youth and Children’s Pastor, and has pastored in the United Methodist Church for the last several years. He is a graduate of Taylor University (B.A.) and Asbury Theological Seminary where he received a Master of Divinity degree. He is ordained in the United Methodist Church. He has also served as an adjunct professor of Speech and Interpersonal Communications at Ivy Tech State College from 2000-2011. Pastor John and his lovely wife, Sharon, live in Pendleton and have two married children and five wonderful grandchildren.
